As announced earlier in March, Ron Nash, former Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing North America has been promoted to President of LATICRETE North America. As of July 1, 2021 he will take on this new role in leading the company into the future. 

Ron’s 17-year experience in various roles within LATICRETE, along with his passion and hunger for knowledge and genuine love for our customers, partners and the industry is what drives him to excel to the next level. Read about Ron’s vision for the future in the TileLetter interview

April 12, 2021 - Creation of Customer Experience Department

We've created a new department to reinforce and elevate our dedication to be the industry leader in customer-centricity. The new Customer Experience Department unites Technical Services, Customer Service, Quality Assurance and LATICRETE University departments under the leadership of Art Mintie, who has been promoted to Vice President of Customer Experience. The department will integrate systems and structures from our four customer-facing areas to streamline resource sharing and enhance communications between LATICRETE and all of our customers.

Art Mintie, Vice President of Customer Experience

Arthur Mintie, Vice President of Customer Experience

Arthur Mintie, Vice President of Customer Experience, leads LATICRETE Technical Services, Customer Service, Quality Assurance and LATICRETE University to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service while creating an optimal customer experience for our business partners.

He is actively involved in global education and training for tile and construction industry materials and methods and serves on various tile and stone standards development and technical committees including: ANSI, ISO, TCNA, NTCA and NSI. He authors industry articles and technical manuals and is a frequent speaker at industry events. 

He joined LATICRETE in 1995 as a Technical Services Representative, advancing in roles within the department and most recently served as Senior Director of Technical Services. 

He earned a BS degree in Business Administration with a concentration in International Business. In addition, he has extensive training and certifications in various industry technical disciplines. 

He enjoys spending time with his wife and family, volunteering for civic activities, playing guitar, golf, water sports, landscaping, and various outdoor activities.

Big News! The next generation of leadership is ready to step up at LATICRETE North America. Ed Metcalf, who has been with the company for more than 35 years and has served as President of LATICRETE North America since 2005, will step down and assume the role of Special Advisor on July 1. Ron Nash, currently Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing North America, will succeed Metcalf as President of LATICRETE North America. Metcalf will work with Nash to ensure a smooth transition and will leave the company by the end of 2021 for a new chapter of his personal and professional life.

On the eve of the announcement about the changing of the guard, TileLetter sat down with outgoing LATICRETE President and COO Ed Metcalf, and incoming President Ron Nash to gain insight from these two leaders as they look back over their careers and look into the future. This change in leadership at LATICRETE is more than simple succession planning; it is a retooling of the company to enable it to be a sleek, responsive, family-style business that gets out in front of changes in the industry and enables the company, its partners and its customers to ride the wave to success.

Ron Nash, President of LATICRETE North America

Ronald Nash, President of the North America Division of LATICRETE International, Inc. received his Bachelor of Science in Botany/Plant Biology from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and is a graduate of the Global Leadership Executive Program in Organizational Leadership from Yale in New Haven, CT.  

Since joining LATICRETE as a Technical Sales Representative in 2004, Ron has progressively assumed more responsibility overseeing sales and marketing. His high-energy approach and commitment to building long-lasting client relationships have helped drive the vision and growth at LATICRETE. 

 
Ron has Captain Don Peak Award for Leadership and Timothy Alper Award for outstanding customer service among other distinctions in the field and will continue to add value across departments as President of North America Division of LATICRETE International, Inc. effective July 2021. 

He serves on industry committees including the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA). Ron resides in Ogden, Utah with his wife and three daughters.
